What better way to kick off my new blog than with news of a new project? The lovely people over at Pornokitsch (yes that site is work safe, no it's not what it sounds like) have put together an anthology of eighteen original stories inspired by the paintings of Victorian nutjob and apocalypse lover John Martin called Pandemonium. All this to coincide with an exhibition of his paintings at the Tate.
This anthology features stories by the likes of Lauren Beukes, Sophie McDougall, Lou Morgan, Scott K. Andrews, John Courtenay Grimwood and my good self. My story is called 'The Day or The Hour' and features a vicar caught up in The Last Battle between good and evil.
The anthology launches next week and will be available for download from all the usual places. On top of this, the Tate will soon be selling a limited run of the print edition of the anthology in its shop.
I'm chuffed to bits to be amongst such good company, do check out this brilliant collection of stories.
In the meantime, here's the trailer for the exhibition.
